EDM Continuing Education
TSSA-approved CE course: 6 hours of safe work practices and regulations plus 6 hours of technical training.
TSSA requires certified elevating devices mechanics to complete at least 12 hours of continuing education with an accredited provider every two years, and to upload proof through the TSSA Client Portal before their certificate expires. Our TSSA-approved CE course follows TSSA’s current CE curriculum (January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2026).
It includes 6 hours on safe work practices and related topics — which may include product-specific safety applications or procedures, the Act, its regulations, applicable codes and director's orders/bulletins — and 6 hours of technical training related to the elevator industry, which may include cross-discipline training that affects the elevator trade.
